Due to the fact that we are unable to find a suitable location to move Dance South, we are not having fall classes for the 2008-2009 school year.  We will post details of our Winter/Spring classes once we have a new space.

We would encourage you to explore other studio options in our area such as Decatur School of Ballet, Lilburn School of Ballet, Vista Grove Dance Center, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, En Pointe School of Dance, or Atlanta Ballet.  All of these facilities offer excellent dance programs.

We will maintain our satellite dance and Creative Movement programs at Creme de la Creme Buckhead and Peachtree Corners, Wieuca Road Baptist Day School,  and Peachtree Christian Church.  If your child is enrolled in a preschool program and you would like to see Dance South offer dance or Creative Movement as part of your child's weekly curriculum, feel free to contact us with your school's information. We would be glad to explore other schools.

As of June 1, 2008, we will no longer be located at Toco Hills Shopping Center.  Because of re-development plans for the actual shopping center, we have been forced to look for another studio space.  Our current landlords will not renew our lease except on a month to month basis which is not something we can do since we run on a school year calendar.  Many spaces in our retail center are empty due to this fact.

Our plan is to stay within the Toco Hills/Oakgrove/Northlake area, but we have not secured a location as of yet.  Our fall schedule for our school year 2008-2009 is not in place due to our move.  Please check back with our website periodically for more updates.

We will continue to maintain our daycare programs in the metropolitan Atlanta area and hope to find a space and start classes after Labor Day.
